Changing a Product Key with ATR or Virtual Desktop

Windows

1. Close Tableau Desktop.
2. Open a command prompt.
3. Navigate to the Tableau Desktop bin folder. By default, this folder is located at: 
   • cd "C:\Program Files\Tableau\Tableau [version]\bin"
4. Enter the following command: atrdiag.exe -deleteAllAtrs
5. Open Tableau Desktop
6. Enter the new key when prompted.

Mac

1. Close Tableau Desktop
2. Select Go > Applications > Utilities > Terminal
3. Navigate to the Tableau bin folder
   • cd /Applications/Tableau.app/Contents/MacOS
4. Enter the following command: ./atrdiag -deleteAllAtrs
5. Open Tableau Desktop
6. Enter the new key when prompted
