How to connect to BMC Remedy AR System in Tableau Desktop.

According to BMC documentation, BMC Remedy AR System can use any of the following database platforms:
  • IBM DB2
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Oracle
Connections with the following data sources are supported by Tableau:
  • IBM DB2 9.1 or later for z/OS, Linux, or Windows (available on Tableau Desktop/Server on Windows only)
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or later
  • Oracle Database 11g Release 2 or later
Consult with your BMC Remedy AR System administrator to determine the database platform used by your BMC Remedy AR System deployment.
