Salesforce Bot Toggle Button Off After Sandbox Refresh

After completing a sandbox refresh, your Einstein Bot toggle in Setup may be switched to OFF. This occurs because sandbox copies do not replicate Bot NLP (Natural Language Processing) models. As a result, the bot will not respond to chat visitors until manually re-enabled.

Will my bot configurations be lost after sandbox refresh?
No, bot configurations are preserved. Only the bot toggle and NLP model need to be reset. Toggle the bot ON in Setup → Einstein Bots to reinitialise the NLP model.

Løsning

You will need to manually toggle the bot on after every sandbox refresh as follows:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Einstein Bots in your Sandbox.
  2. Locate the toggle switch for Bots in the upper-right corner and set it to ON.
