How to activate a Tableau Desktop trial extension.

In order to extend a Tableau Desktop trial, you must obtain a special short-term trial product key from your Tableau Account Team.  If you are not certain who your account manager is, or do not have an account manager, contact the Tableau's sales team.

Once you have been given a product key for activation, perform the following:

  1. Open Tableau Desktop.
  2. In the Activate Tableau dialog box that opens, select Activate the product.
  3. Type the trial license extension product key, and then click Activate.
