Is it possible to change the user name or email address associated with a Tableau Cloud account?
With the 2025.1 release of Tableau Cloud, it is now possible to change your email address in your Tableau Cloud account settings. This email address can be changed at any time and will be used to receive notification and alert emails (excluding Password Reset requests) from Tableau Cloud. Please note that at this time:
Steps to Change Email Address:
Log in to Tableau Cloud.
Click on your profile image or initials in the top right corner.
Select My Account Settings. (Note: If this option is not visible, refer to the section "Change Your Display Name or Password in Tableau Cloud" in this documentation for alternative navigation. You can also directly access your
Tableau Cloud account settings here.)
Locate the email address field and update it to your desired new email address.
Save your changes.
You may receive a confirmation email to the new address to verify the change.
Alternatively, a user's email address can be updated through SAML or OIDC claims through login.
