What is "Computing Totals" in Performance Recording and when will it show up?

[Computing Totals] is recorded is when using the Totals feature. 
For example:
  1. Add a grade total to the view. (This feature can be accessed through Menu->Analysis->Totals or through the “Analytics” side panel )
  2. Create a calculation including the TOTAL() function and add this calculation to the view. (Note: Creating the calculation only will not trigger this event, adding to the view does.)
