How to group all data from a single month and display as a single day, such as the last day of the month.

Create a calculated field.

For example, the attached workbook contains the calculated field [Last Day of Month], created with the formula below:
  
DATEADD('day',-1,DATEADD('month',1,DATETRUNC('month',[Order Date])))
This calculated field was placed on the Columns shelf and Exact Date was selected to achieve a view where the header displays the last day of the month.
