How to give non-administrative users access to the Tableau Server administrative views.
Steg

Connect to the Tableau Server database and create custom administrative views:

  1. Enable access to the Tableau Server database and then connect to the database from Tableau Desktop. For more information, see Create Custom Administrative Views in Tableau Help.
  2. Create a workbook that pulls the desired data from Tableau Server.
  3. Publish the workbook to Tableau Server. For more information, see Publishing to Tableau Server in Tableau Help.
