Task

To Configure the Google Analytics 4 Connector in Tableau Server

Steps
In order to use the Google Analytics 4 connector with Tableau Server, a taco file must be deployed to Tableau Server.
In addition, to configure Custom OAuth, Configuring custom OAuth for the site is required in addition to the Custom OAuth for the server.

Steps:
1. Download the connector file (.taco) from Tableau Exchange
2. move the .taco file to Tableau Server's Connectors directory
(/var/opt/tableau/tableau_server/data/ tabsvc/vizqlserver/Connectors/, etc.)
3. Restart Tableau Server
4. In a new workbook or data source, go to [Connections -> Servers] and make sure Google Analytics 4 is selected
5. Obtain a client ID and enable Google APIs
6. Configure Tableau Server for Google OAuth
7. Configure custom OAuth for a site
