Connection to SharePoint Online and OneDrive from Tableau Desktop Fails ‘Authentication failed Error code 84223ADA’

When trying to connect to SharePoint Online and OneDrive from Tableau Desktop, the following error occurred:

‘Authentication failed Error code 84223ADA’

Cause

Affected Mac host was running 'Netskope' security app. Once 'Netskope' was turned off, it was possible to connect to the SharePoint Online and OneDrive Data Source.

Решение

If Netskope security app is installed on Mac, turn it off and confirm that no applications on the host machine are stopping the connection to the Data Source.
