When Using TSM UI, Sometimes "unexpected error occurred -- could not connect to API" is Received

When attempting to access the TSM Web UI in a browser, sometimes functionality is successful, but other times actions result in errors such as:

Unexpected Server Error
Could not connect to /api/0.5/configurations/pending/keys/diff/requested

Unexpected Server Error
Could not connect to /api/0.5/topologies/requested/diff/pending

Unexpected Server Error
Could not connect to /api/0.5/deployments/cluster-restart-needed

Unexpected Server Error
Could not connect to /api/0.5/topologies/pending/violations?configurationVersion=pending

Løsning
Access TSM via local machine hostname, IP address, or localhost.

Errors are received only when accessing TSM UI via a DNS alias to the Tableau Server initial node. This is not a supported way to access TSM as documented at Sign in to Tableau Services Manager Web UI
You must specify the hostname or IP address of the computer running TSM. If you have set up a load balancing or proxy solution in front of Tableau Sever, do not specify the load balancer or proxy address.
