Slow Maps Rendering On Tableau Server

Описание

When accessing a view that includes maps published on Tableau Server, it takes over several minutes. 
The same view renders only in a few seconds on Tableau Desktop.
 

Cause

By default, Tableau will try to use the externally hosted map. If it is not available, then use the offline background map.
Решение
Option 1
Open the domain and ports of the external map
Reach out to an IT professional/administrator and make sure the proxy server settings meet the Internet Access Requirements. For more information, see Working with maps. Tableau uses map data that is hosted externally.

Option 2
Use the Offline background map
If the domain or ports of the map are blocked, configure Tableau to use offline maps instead. For more information, see Use the Offline background map in Tableau Desktop, Online, or Server.
