Viz in Tooltips Fail to Load on Mouse-over in Tableau Server

Within the same workbook, some Viz in Tooltips will load correctly and others will appear to load for a split-second and then disappear after mousing over them. All Viz in Tooltips work 100% of the time in Tableau Desktop.

 

Cause

Viz in Tooltips that appear non-consistent (or that load for a split second and then go blank), when you mouse-over them are set to Responsive instead of On Hover.
Løsning
  1. Click on Tooltips on the Marks card.
  2. Next to Show tooltips, locate the menu where you can select one of two options:
  3. Responsive - Show tooltips instantly
  4. On Hover - Show tooltips on hover
  5. If Responsive is selected, change it to On Hover.
  6. Save the workbook and republish to Tableau Server
