When publishing a workbook to Tableau Server the following error occurs: Publish Failure Workbook file is missing or empty
Cause
The publishing request is being blocked or incorrectly routed by a third party software such as a proxy, load balancer or firewall.
Ratkaisu
Work with your internal IT team to ensure that any proxy, load balancer, firewall or antivirus is configured to allow traffic from Tableau and to route it correctly.
