Range of Dates filters do not exclude null values while web authoring

Description

While interacting with a published view in Web Authoring mode, null values are displayed after applying a Range of Dates filter to the rows shelf.

Résolution
The ability to filter null values in Range of Dates filters while Web Authoring is not currently built into the Tableau Server/Online products.

The following options can be used to workaround the issue:

Option 1
Create the worksheet required within Tableau Desktop and then publish to Tableau Server/Online.

Option 2
Create a calculated field for use while Web Authoring in Tableau Server/Online. The script below provides an example and returns true/false values: 
if isnull("date field")= true then false
else true
end
