When running a flow in Tableau Prep, the following error is displayed:

An error has occured while running the flow - System error: System error

 

Løsning
More information can be found in app.log (in Tableau Prep Builder repository folder - C:\Users\usernamexxxx\Documents\My Tableau Prep Repository\Logs\app.log ) regarding the underlying error, which varies.


If the logs show:

VisitTuples: not implemented

Option 1

  1. Check the flow for a 'Group and replace' step that replaces null with '0'. 
  2. Remove the Group and Replace step.
  3. Create a calculated field: IFNULL(<FieldName>,0)

Option 2

  1. Check for joins based on fields that have been renamed.
  2. Remove the renaming steps on joining fields.
  3. Delete and re-create the join step.
