When trying to sign in to Tableau Server from Tableau Prep Builder, the Tableau Server Sign In dialog is blank.
The Chromium component of Tableau Prep Builde uses the subjectAlternativeName extension (not commonName) to match the domain name and site certificate.
Use one of the following workarounds to publish the output as a data source to Tableau Server:
Replace the self-signed certificate with a trusted certificate.
Instead of publishing the data sources directly to Tableau Server, create the extract files and then publish them using Tableau Desktop. For more information, see:
