Could not Complete Subscription for Subscribers

When trying to subscribe user to a view, the following error is displayed in browser:
 
could not complete subscription for 1 subscribers

Cause

The are two possible reasons:
  1. User account is missing a valid email address.
  2. User does not have access to the view.
Ratkaisu
  1. Check that the user account has a valid email address.
  2. Check that the user has 'View" permissions to the view.
