Description

Authentication fails when publishing to Server that uses SSO/SAML authentication from Prep CLI.

 

Cause

The feature to sign in Tableau Server using SSO is not currently built into the Prep CLI.
Résolution
Workarounds:
  • Run a flow from Tableau Prep Builder GUI.
  • Publish a flow to Tableau Server that has enabled Tableau Conductor so that Tableau Conductor can run the flow.
