Unable To Write Data Back To External Database From Tableau Desktop

For Tableau Desktop, there's no built-in function to write back to database. 

Cause:

The function to write data back to database is not currently built-in for Tableau Desktop.
 

Lösning
 Current workaround is to use Extension API to write-back to a database. For more information refer to the blog below:

Alternatively, Tableau Prep Builder (2020.3.1 and later) has a function to export to database from the flow.
