Cannot access the offline activation page, even though having enabled access to www.tableau.com

 

Cause

Access to https://activation.tableausoftware.com is used internally for uploading or downloading the activation file through https://www.tableau.com/support/activation site.

 
Résolution
Enable access to the domain and port below via proxy server.
