"Error Code: FAB9A2C5 The table '[<Catalog>].[<schema>].[<table>]' does not exist." Error When Updating the Data Grid While Connected to TIBCO DV

After connecting to TIBCO Data Virtualization database in Tableau and clicking 'Update Now' on the Data Source page, the following error occurs:
 

Unable to connect to the server. Check that the server is running and that you have access privileges to the requested database.

<table>' refers to a table that no longer exists. On line X, column X. [parser-XXXXXXX][Log ID:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]
The table '[<Catalog>].[<schema>].[<table>]' does not exist.

 

解決策

Apply a .tdc file containing the following customization:
 

<customization name='CAP_ODBC_METADATA_SUPPRESS_SQLCOLUMNS_API' value='yes' />
 

For example:

  1. If there are any open Tableau Desktop windows, close them.
  2. Save the sample .tdc file attached to this article to Documents\My Tableau Repository\Datasources.
  3. Open Tableau Desktop and connect to the data source.
