When signing in to Tableau Server through Tableau Desktop, the following error may occur:

Your connection has probably timed out. Try to reconnect to Tableau Server.
Ratkaisu
  1. In Tableau Desktop, sign out of Tableau Server: select the Server menu > Signed In to <server> > Sign Out (<User name>). 
  2. Select the Help menu > Settings and Performance > Clear Saved Server Sign-ins.
  3. Sign in to Tableau Server again.
