Error "[Simba][SqlServerODBC] (15) Failed to connect to the SQL Server instance: [28000]" Connecting to Azure SQL on Mac

Description

When trying to connect to a Microsoft Azure SQL data source from Tableau Desktop on a Mac computer, the following error may occur:
 

[Simba][SqlServerODBC] (15) Failed to connect to the SQL Server instance: [28000]: Login failed for user. Invalid username or password. This may indicate that the database name is incorrect.
 
Résolution

Use SQL Authentication instead of Azure Active Directory Authentication.
