Error "No Kerberos credentials available" When Connecting to Cloudera Hadoop Hive from Tableau Desktop

Description
When trying to connect to Cloudera Hadoop Impala from Tableau Desktop, the following error may occur:
 
[Cloudera][ImpalaODBC] (100) Error from the Impala Thrift APO: SASL(-1): generic failure: GSSAPI Error Unspecified GSS failure. Minor code may provide more information (No Kerberos credentials available (default cache: KCM:))

Cause

The Kerberos credential cache cannot be located on the computer. 
Resolution
Add the following lines to the [libdefaults] section of the krb5.conf file in the /etc directory:
 
default_cc_type = FILE
default_ccache_name = FILE:/tmp/krb5cc_501
