Tableau Server is Degraded After Running 'tsm pending-changes apply'

After making a configuration change using tsm configuration set and applying the changes wit tsm pending-changes apply where a gateway.* parameter key was entered incorrectly, Tableau Server is in a degraded state and some services may be in an error state.

Cause

This behavior is related to a known issue which is currently under investigation.
Ratkaisu
Use one of the following workarounds. 

Option 1:

Perform a 'clean' uninstall and reinstall Tableau Server. For more information, see Remove Tableau Server from Your Computer

Option 2:

Contact Tableau Technical Support for assistance in correcting invalid settings.
