When accessing workbooks on Tableau Cloud, inconsistent performance may occur. 

 

Cause

Depending on whether caching features on Tableau Cloud are utilized for a particular request can greatly affect workbook performance. 

Résolution

Performance fluctuations on Tableau Cloud can be mitigated by optimizing the workbook performance within Tableau Desktop, as Tableau Cloud will reflect any improvements made at the workbook level. See Optimize Workbook Performance for additional information on improving workbook performance that includes whitepaper and video resources.
