Описание

The error "The activation key has been updated with higher maintenance" during offline activation in Tableau usually occurs when there is a mismatch between the activation key being used and the maintenance period recognized by Tableau's licensing system

When uploading an offline.tlq file to Tableau Activation page, the following error might occur: 

The activation key has been updated with higher maintenance. Please create a new offline activation file from your Tableau product using the following key: <product key>. Then return to this page (www.tableau.com/activation) to upload the new file.
Решение
  1. Ensure that you are using the correct activation key 
  2. If you recently renewed your Tableau maintenance, confirm that you have the latest key from the Tableau Customer Portal 
    Ref : Find the Correct Key to Offline Activate on Tableau Server
  3. Use the key and create a new offline.tlq file Activation 
  4. From a computer that has internet access, upload the new file to the Tableau Activation page.
  5. Save the activation.tlf file from the Activation page, and then copy it to the computer where you installed Tableau Server.
  6. On the offline computer, double-click the activation.tlf file to complete the offline activation.
