Duplicated Parameters Appear When Opening Workbooks

Описание
When opening a workbook based on a published data source and creating a local copy of the data source in the workbook, some parameters duplicate.

Cause

The internal names of the parameters do not match between the data source and the local workbook, therefore Tableau Desktop creates a copy for each mismatched parameter between the data source and the local workbook, resulting in duplicated parameters.
Решение
  1. Open an affected workbook in Tableau Desktop.
  2. Right-click the data source in the 'Data' pane on the upper left hand side and select Create local copy.
  3. Use the Replace data source option so that the local copy is being used and close the published Tableau Server data source.
  4. Ensure all parameters are correct and make any necessary adjustments.
  5. Right-click the local copy of the data source and re-publish it to Tableau Server, overwriting the old one.
  6. Connect to the data source on Tableau Server and replace the data sources again, so that the published data source is in use.
  7. Close the local copy of the data source by right-clicking it and choosing Close.
  8. Save the workbook.
