Description
When changing filter values in a published workbook, the following error might occur:

Session Ended By Server
An unexpected error occurred. If you continue to receive this error please contact your Tableau Server Administrator.

Cause

The Watchdog process terminated the query before it was complete. The Watchdog process exists to prevent Tableau Server from unintentionally shutting down a computer when resource usage gets too high.
Résolution
Increase the memory allocated to Tableau Server.
