Description
When you connect to Oracle using a privileged account which proxies into another generic user account, the following error might occur:

ORA-01017: Invalid username/password; logon denied
Résolution
Enter the username with the syntax below:

user_id[user id being proxied to]

Note: The brackets should be included.
