Error: "ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified" When Publishing Workbook

Description

When publishing a workbook with a connection to Oracle 11g database, the following error might occur:

ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified

tnsnames.ora file on Tableau Server had some leading spaces in front of the server name.

Resolution

Ensure there are no syntax errors or leading spaces in the tnsnames.ora file on the computer running Tableau Server.
