Description
Connecting to a SQL Server enabled with Kerberos delegation fails, and the following error occurs:
Unable to connect to the data source

Cause

The fully qualified computer name is required in order to configure Kerberos delegation for SQL Server in Tableau Server.
Résolution
Configure Kerberos designation using the fully qualified computer name from Active Directory instead of DNS aliases. For more information, see Enabling Kerberos Delegation for SQL Server.
