Dates in a Filter are not Sorted Chronologically

Описание
When showing the filter for a string field with dates, the dates are sorted alphabetically rather than in date order.

Cause

While text data may be representative of dates or times, there is no chronological order stored in text data. Thus Tableau Desktop can only sort text data alphabetically.
Решение

Option 1

Convert the filter field into a date type.

Option 2

Manually sort the default sort order of the string field.
Note: New data brought in will not be automatically sorted.
