Error "Invalid table name value...table does not exist"

In Tableau Desktop, when opening the data source tab, the following error message might occur:
"Invalid table name value...table does not exist"
Cause
The specified table causing the error message has been renamed in the data source.
Lösning
Check the name of the table in the data source, whether Excel or Cloud data source. If the name has been changed, remove the table from the table, and re-add and reconnect to it with the new name.
