Issue

When interacting with a workbook, the following error occurs:

 

TableauException: Cannot find a total needed to compute a percentage. The database may have changed or a calculation cannot be completed. Try refreshing your connection or editing the calculation. 

 

Решение

Option 1

Refresh the extract.

 


Option 2

Remove and recreate the extract

  1. Navigate to Data > {data source name} > Extract > Remove
  2. Select either option and click OK
  3. Navigate to Data > {data source name} > Extract Data…
  4. Select any desired extract options and click Extract

 

Option 3

Republish the workbook from Tableau Desktop to Tableau Server.
