The DATE() function interprets the string argument as d/m/yy rather than m/d/yy.
To interpret date strings, Tableau Desktop uses the Format setting from the operating system Region and Language settings.
In the computer's operating system Region and Language settings, change the Short Date format to M/d/yyyy.

As a best practice for converting strings to date values using Date(, pass the string in the ISO 8601 format of YYYY-MM-DD.
For example:Date("2025-02-15") = February 15, 2025
