When you publish a workbook to Tableau Cloud, the following message occurs:
Tableau Cloud supports live connections to some data source types that are accessible to Tableau Cloud, or to data sources which are configured to use Tableau Bridge Client to maintain a live connection.
For a workbook that uses a live connection to a data source type that is not specified in the product documentation Connect to Data on Tableau Cloud, you must either create an extract in Tableau Desktop or configure the connection to use Tableau Bridge before you can publish the workbook to Tableau Cloud .
To create an extract and publish the data source:
See the Using Embedded Data Sources product help page for steps to publish a workbook with an embedded live data source using Tableau Bridge Client.
