After you make multiple selections in dependent filters, the Tableau view becomes blank.
Filters are hierarchically dependent. The secondary filters will not automatically be cleared when a new selection is made in the quick filter at the top level of the hierarchy.
Because the Tableau secondary filters will not automatically be cleared when a new selection is made in the quick filter at the top level of the hierarchy, select All in the top-level filter before making the secondary filter selections.
