Tableau Server Service (tabsvc) Marked For Deletion

After changing Run As user credentials, or adding or modifying a worker node, in a distributed environment, the Tableau Server process (tabsvc) might become marked for deletion. Additionally, the following error message also might appear in the server log files:

RuntimeError: The driver encountered an unknown error: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: Connection refused. Check that the hostname and port are correct and that the postmaster is accepting TCP/IP connections.
Lösning
  1. Reset the deletion flag for the affected Tableau Server service. For more information, see The Specified service has been marked for deletion on the Microsoft Technet website.
  2. Ensure the Run As user has administrative permissions for all worker machines before making modifications to process distribution or Run As user credentials.
  3. ​Ensure that all machines in distributed environment are not blocking Tableau Software connections from firewall.
