After installing Tableau Server on a Windows Azure virtual machine, issues with slow performance or system instability might occur.

  1. Verify that the virtual machine running Azure meets minimum system requirements for Tableau Server. For more information, see Before you install....
  2. For optimal performance, Tableau Server should be installed on low latency disks. For more information on configuring your Azure virtual machine with low latency disks, see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/premium-storage-performance in Microsoft Azure Documentation.
