The product key has already been returned. Contact Tableau Technical Support and provide the license file data (https://orgcs.lightning.force.com/articles/Knowledge/providing-license-data-to-tableau-support) to verify. Tableau Technical Support will provide the command to clear the key manually from your machine.
There may be a problem with the license data stored on the Tableau Desktop machine. When trying to deactivate a product key, an error should display. Check with an Internet search the exact code or error received to understand next steps.
