Unable to Filter All Worksheets in a Published Workbook

Action filters that filter all worksheets in a workbook do not behave as expected if a workbook was published with Show Sheets as Tabs not selected.

 

Cause

This issue occurs when the All Fields option was selected during the filter actions set up, and the Show Sheets as Tabs check box was not selected when publishing the workbook to Tableau Server. 
Løsning
Option 1
  • Edit the filter action to specify the fields to filter on. To do so, in the Filter Action dialog box, under Target Filters, select Selected Fields, and then specify the fields you want to filter on.

Option 2
  1. In the Publish Workbook to Tableau Server dialog box, select Show Sheets as Tabs.
  2. After publishing, hide tabs by adding ?:tabs=no to the URL. For more information, see List of Embed Parameters. 
  3. If the view is embedded, you may not need to the include the "?." Refer to the examples, below.
Example 1:  http://<server>/views/<workbook>/<sheet>?:tabs=no
Example 2 (embedded view): http://<server>/views/<workbook>/<dashboard>?:embed=yes&:tabs=no
