Error "Communication with the Tableau Protocol Server process was lost" When Refreshing Extract

When refreshing an extract on Tableau Server, the extract might fail with the following error:
 
TableauException: Communication with the Tableau Protocol Server process was lost.

Cause

The data extract is too large and the refresh exhausts available system resources.
Решение
  • Verify that the computer hosting Tableau Server meets hardware requirements. For more information, see Before you install...
  • Create a smaller extract or break large extract into subset extracts if needed.
