Error "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" When Using tabcmd

When using tabcmd, the command might fail with the following error:

*** An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

Cause

There is communication or routing issue with the URL used in tabcmd command.
Ratkaisu
  1. Replace the Tableau Server URL in the command with "https://localhost".
  2. Add the "--no-certcheck" parameter to the command.
Lisäresurssit
If using "localhost" is not an option, work with your IT team to investigate why the original URL does not work properly. In some scenarios adding "--no-certcheck" might help even with the original URL.
