Workbook Data Doesn't Update After Successfully Refreshing Published Extracts

After refreshing published extracts, workbooks might not display updated data. 

Cause

Refreshing the published data source does not refresh the local copy of the data source used in the workbook. 
Решение
Ensure that the workbook is connected to the published data source and not a local copy of the data source. 
  1. In Tableau Desktop, connect to the data source published on Tableau Server. For more information, see Connecting to Data Sources.  
  2. Navigate to Data > Replace Data Source... to replace the local data source with a published one. For more information, see Replacing Data Sources. 
  3. Right-click on the old data source and select Close. 
  4. Republish, replacing the existing workbook.

When using Publish to Tableau Cloud or to Tableau Server... option in Tableau Desktop, original data source is not replaced with new published copy. In order to use this new published data source in the current workbook it is necessary to connect and replace data source manually.
