Unable to filter a target sheet based on the measure values selected in the source sheet of a Filter Action.
The ability to create an Action that filters a target sheet based on a measure value is not currently built into the product.
In some cases, it may be possible to convert measures into dimensions, using the level of detail (LOD) expression FIXED. For detailed instructions, please see Unable to Convert Measure to Dimension
Use parameters instead of Filter Actions. For more information, please see Use Parameters to Make Views More Interactive and How To Make Filter Actions Work For Measure Names Using Parameter.
Pivot the measures. For some data sources, it may be possible to pivot the data in Tableau Desktop. See Pivot Data from Columns to Rows.
Join to a list of the measure names on join calculations of 1=1, which will duplicate every measure name for every record in the database. This option is demonstrated in the workbook in the right-hand pane of this page. For more information about join calculations, please see Use calculations to resolve mismatches between fields in a join.
