When adding a calculated field to a view, the following error may occur:

The query is too large. The maximum standard SQL query length is 1024.00K characters, including comments.

Google imposes a limit of 1 MB for standard SQL query length in Google BigQuery.

Решение

As a possible workaround, use an extract instead of a live connection to the data source.
