The following resolution options should help in getting a Tableau Cloud User's Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) reset.
Option 1: Contact another Site Administrator on your site for assistance
Site Administrators have the ability to reset MFA verifiers for single site users. See Regain site access after being locked out for steps. If you are not a Site Administrator, contact a Site Administrator for assistance.
Note: For security purposes, a site admin can only reset the MFA verifiers of a user that belongs to a single site.
If you are the only Site Administrator on your site or additional assistance is required, see Option 2.
Option 2: Contact a Tableau Cloud Manager (TCM) Cloud Administrator for assistance
TCM Cloud Administrators have the ability to reset MFA verifiers for single Tenant users in Tableau Cloud Manager. See Reset verification methods for steps. If you are not a Cloud Administrator, contact a Cloud Administrator for assistance.
Note: For security purposes, a Cloud Administrator can only reset the MFA verifiers of a user that belongs to a single Tenant.
