Description

Unable to connect Snowflake data source from Tableau Cloud with the following error:

Error invalid username or password

Cause

Tableau Cloud IP addresses are blocked by Snowflake data source.

 

 

Resolution

Configure Snowflake and add the Tableau Cloud IPs in allowlist. The range of IP addresses used by Tableau Cloud are listed in the Online help below.
